As with the Porsche 997 rally cars, I bet this would be a real hoot to drive sideways through the woods! The second link has all of the development pictures; most impressive!

From the site: "THE NEW FIA R-GT WRC class is currently booming thanks to the likes of Richard Tuthill and his awesome Porsche.

Now a group of rally nuts from Finland have decided that an Aston Martin Vantage GT4 race car would also fit right in under the new rules.

In a process that took just under a month, Mäkelä Auto-Tuning stripped a 2012 Aston Martin V8 Vantage GT4 down to its naked body, and then turned it into a dedicated rallying machine.

So if the idea of a V8-powered rear wheel drive Aston Martin rally car doesn’t get you excited, you probably don’t have a pulse.

This isn’t some side hobby by a group of crazy Finns either, the FIA has given the car its stamp of approval, and it will soon be tackling WRC stages across the globe."
