Hi everybody, just got a 2009 V8V with lots of options but I can't figure whether two of them are there or not - HID auto adjusting headlights and the upgraded alarm system. Any suggestions on how to determine?

Also from what I have read, some 2009 V8 "options" have essentially been standard or included on all Vantages shipped to the USA. Any comments on this?

For example is having premium sound, Bluetooth, cruise control, satellite radio, navigation etc. really an option, or did all 2009s have those?

Lastly, before I got the car some idiot pulled out one of the trunk liner panels on the left side, and I cannot figure out how to get it back in. I am 350 miles from a dealer so that's an issue! Any suggestions/videos on trunk carpet R&R?

Alarm test -- sit in the car and lock it with the remote. wave your arms around the dash. If the alarm goes off you've got the hi-spec alarm with tilt & motion sensing.

Headlights -- if you're parked facing a wall you should see the lights adjust when you start up. You'll see (and probably hear the motors) as the lights drop then come back up to level.

 

That's just what I needed to know.
