The Interia switch is internal to the CEM module. Controlled by a relay in the CEM module. These have been known to fail or stick.

Thanks for the help!
I located a picture of an inertia switch but do not see that switch anywhere in the CEM (at the passenger side footwell).

I understand the switch looks like this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370788362577

I checked the workshop manual and cannot find anything about the inertia switch. Is it located inside the CEM or behind the CEM?

That switch is for an AMV8, not a V8 Vantage.

Oh, I see. Then I cannot seem to find anything about the inertia switch on the 2005+ Vantage. I do not see it anywhere in the workshop manual, nor can I find the part for sale anywhere. Does anyone have an idea of where this switch is located exactly? Thank you

Smile battery reset location on 2006 DB9

Resetting the battery after pushing the battery disconnect button in the trunk is a simple matter ONCE YOU KNOW WHERE TO FIND THE RESET BUTTON!

For some odd reason, the yellow reset button is hidden under the passenger side, rear seat. Gently pull up on the passenger rear seat, which is held in place only with Velcro, and there is a yellow button in the middle of the panel under the seat. Push the yellow button and the battery will reconnect and then slide the seat back in and you're done.

Bill.

Could it be if your fuel pump is not getting power, it may be a bad fuel pump relay?
