Just got a 15 Vantage GT (Introducing myself)
Hey guys, my name is Michael - just got my first Aston Martin, a 2015 6-speed Vantage GT.
I always thought the AM brand to be 'unreachable', but after watching Youtube reviews on the Vantage GT at $99k for, like.. a MILLION times.. I decided to pull the trigger.
Got it from Aston Martin Newport Beach, great people there, must say.
This forum seems to have some awesome people with great experience, hope I can contribute along the way.
About me, my car history is..
- 97 Firebird (first car)
- 98 Camaro
- 07 Infiniti G37
- 13 Mustang Boss Laguna Seca (Let this one go too soon)
- 11 BMW M3 (probably my favorite car so far. That NA v8 engine is a beautiful thing)
- 14 Fiat 500 Abarth (fun car, but broke down 3 times in first couple weeks)
- 14 Nissan GTR (kept it for 1 month.. just did not like it)
- 15 BMW M235i (amazing bang-for-buck, can't wait for the M2)
- 97 BMW M3 (my track car, it's 18 years old, I'm the 10th owner, but still looks and drives like new)
Of course, my Vantage is going to be the car I keep for a long time. No, really. Yes.
I'm tired of my friends saying I 'treat my cars like my women', whatever that means.
