I purchased a piano black fascia and door caps to upgrade my 2005 DB9. I got them, but quickly realized I needed to also purchase the fitting kit since my old fascia was plastic backed and the piano black is metal. I got he lot from AMB with no instructions. I used some threads on the forums to figure it out.

As my old sat Nav cover snapped on the sides, I could not figure out how to incorporate the wire clip that came with the kit. I was able to get the sat Nav door fitted good enough to clear the top when opening, but I noticed it will not fully open when installed in the dash. I do notice the new fascia does stick up a little higher than the old so I wonder if that is causing an issue with it catching on something.

Has anyone had this issue or can someone advise me as to how to fit it properly? Also, I'm curious if I am even able to use the wire clip to attach the sat Nav or if I need to use another type of fastener. Any help is appreciated.
