V12S Vantages for 150k?

REally? Several out there (and a few less) for $150k. Most with 5k or less on the clock.

V12 manual trannies still all seem to be holding between 110k and 130k.

Will be interesting to see what the new Vantage does to pricing on these cars. Are any of the 4.7s under $40k yet?

What are you trying to get at? What are you looking to buy, a V12 or V8?

I have a 12 V12 manual.

Not trying to get at anything as I intend to keep the car. Just astounded that I can go out and buy a 2015 V12S for 150k.

A few reports of folks getting 0 mileage cars for only slightly north of $150k.

If you try real hard, you can find a brand new one for slightly less.

I wanted a V12, but didn't test drive one because I know I would have bought it. My wife would have chopped my nuts off if I'd spent more than $100k for any car.

Correct, brand new for $150k or slightly less. I know because I was about to buy one. People say the depreciation is terrible on the V12s ... But that assumes you actually are foolish enough to pay retail. If you get a 40-50k off deal, then in reality it's a massive bargain and the depreciation is no different than the V8 (if not slightly better)

With the Vantage GT priced at $100k it's hard to justify another $100k for essentially a V12 motor.

With an additional 135hp....

Also don't forget the carbon fibre bits and carbon ceramic brakes. They might look similar but they are quite different.

True, but I'm with Yankee on this. The extra bits don't quite explain the additional $ (at sticker). I suspect the profit margin on a V12 Vantage (S or otherwise) is greater than on the V8

We'll agree to disagree . But one thing I hope we can all agree on is the V12 Vantage is not just an engine swap.

V12V will become famous soon enough
Trunk money is a wonderful thing. They are discounting them because they don't sell at retail.

I am kinda in the market for one as well. My broker is able to find a couple even south of $140k. This would be my 3rd AM.

What I am kind of surprised is that some dealerships still hold out the "We will sell it at MSRP" attitude. Bewildering.

One dealership is advertising $0 down for $1599 a month with a V12VS copywriting etc only to find out that was for GT not V12VS. Even more bewildering.

You can get a new gray coupe at MAG for $140K. Damn good bargain. I'd buy it even if I wasn't crazy about the color at that price. Seems like you couldn't go wrong...

They have a V12S Roadster for 167k... Amazing prices. I almost feel bad that they still have a Virage at almost 100k off sticker. If those V12S were manual I'd buy either one but the SportShift ugh...
