Any one else driving their Aston Martin to Spectre next week?

Ironic trip to Spectre screening yesterday
There was so much traffic going over Coldwater yesterday (at 4 PM !!) that the overheating clutch warning in my Vantage came on and i had to turn around and take the long way with less traffic. Galpin managed to fill the entire theater with fellow owners and the movie was terrific! Especially for AM lovers! But I couldn't help but notice that my own Vantage wasn't up to par with the performance of the AMs in the movie. Special effects I guess.

We went tonight, courtesy of Foreign cars Italia. It was raining and the roads were yuck. Did not feel like getting it dirty nor risking someone running in to it. So wound up taking the DD. The movie was super. they kept the pace going very well.
This weekend is supposed to be nice, If so I'll catch a Matinée with the Vantage. Spectre is good enough to see a second time.

And I completely agree on the DB5.

AMC Saratoga (which is confusingly in San Jose).

Picked up some "swag" at the movie screening as well...
The DB10 on display had windows up and door handles covered with a large piece of clear packing tape to make sure we couldn't get in and despoil the interior!
Purple LED spotlights made photography of the DB10 a little difficult.
Some other Astons were on display as well...
Unfortunately, I didn't win any of the vendor door prize drawings.

You want Crazy--I drove my Aston to Reno, NV from Lake Tahoe to see Spectre at IMAX, and went over the highest Sierra Pass that they clear in the Winter--8,900-feet. With Snow tires installed I had no problem. Here's a Picture of me getting ready to leave and at the top of the pass.

Disk Tahoe that's Awesome! I think i would be doing donuts and power slides in the snow. I also love the Jacket shirt. You sir are the truly crazy one
Almost makes me wish i had driven mine in the rain and muck. I did get to see Bond twice, we went with the AM on Sunday when the weather was lovely, even took some side roads and enjoyed the fall colors.

Wow, they were giving out John Varvatos gifts at the screenings? I arrived too late to the Los Gatos premier to get one. If anyone has some JV swag they don't want please send me a PM, I love that brand.

Different swag at different events. Los Gatos was giving out keychains and baseball caps. (007 and some of the leftover 100th anniversary Aston ones). So you didn't miss out.
As a note, I sent one of the caps to my dad in Florida and his reply was "Thanks, but if you could send me the matching car for Christmas that would be better..." Next time I'll send him a Yugo hat.
