Radar detector V1 or Passport
Radar detector V1 or Passport
Looking for a deal on one and I thought about replacing my Valentine 1. Anybody using either or suggestions on upgrading the V1 instead of replacing.
I hope the new generation of Astons come with Apple CarPlay. I find Waze very useful for alerting me of road hazards and speed traps. It would be nice to have its display integrated into the car's infotainment system.
Also wanted to mention that I have always been a big fan of the V12 but, lately, I have been getting more and more false alerts as I drive near Audi or Lexus cars. I suspect their blind spot detection and adaptive cruise control are triggering the alerts. If I happen to be driving next to one of these cars I can get as many as 8 bogeys on the display. Does anyone else have this issue? Is Passport any better at rejecting these alerts?
Passport is quieter, it has better filter and as results it has less fault alarms, also it filters better the laser alert activate by some of GM cars
The v1 has better long distance alert, it's a little bit faster to detect radars but the amount of false alarm is higher. Another useful feature of the max is its gps, it's possible to mark locations.
And yes it filters better the signals created by modern cars
