I thought the GTS was going to be the holy grail of the V8s.... But in reality it was the 2016 GT that ended up being the best V8 ever made.

I would recommend getting a 2016 GT with the updated interior & etc Ina combo as close to what you want and enjoy it, for the money it's the best

usually if you have to think about the cost then u really cant afford it....
well thats how it is in the blue collar world.. i just got my dream car last
summer, 2007 v8v ,used, "i am in heaven" still pinch myself sometimes
that it is actually mine!

I'm in the market for 07 manual, what was so bad about them? I don't care about depreciation .

Why not buy 1 year old - still two years left on Factory warranty and reasonable cost to extend another 3 years? Wouldn't that take the risk out of busying used? It's what I did on my 09 and my 15 Vantages.
