Upgrading speakers... Vantage V8

I've decide to go ahead and upgrade my speakers in my premium audio (don't ask )

So far, I've determined that Focal CA100's will work for the doors and the rear speakers.

I'm willing to leave the subwoofer alone, because I can't detect an apparent flaw. I'm having trouble locating info on the front center speaker, however.

So my question is what is the dimension of the front center speaker, and what type of speaker is it? I guess, I could simply remove it and measure it, but I don't want to remove any parts prior to having their replacements on hand.

FWIW, the Focal's are coaxial speakers, as is the stock center speaker. The part number of the center speaker is 6G33-18808-FA.

I guess I'm looking for a dimension of the center speaker, or an upgrade speaker for this part.

Thanks!
TAC

I know you said don't ask, but really why? It's a lot of work to replace them, you may introduce rattles in the process, and they sound pretty darn good to me already.

Yes, it system does sound good but when driven hard I do detect some midrange deficiencies. I've checked my source and the issue is not that. I'm just looking for a little more definition in the midrange.

StronkMan is infamous around these parts
It's a lot easier to build a sound system at home that no car stereos could compare to.

Unfortunately my new V8V came with the standard 160 watt system. Adequate at best.
Any easy upgrades?

I think the premium sound its really very good. I agree that when you start taking panels and pieces off and then put them back on, you have a good chance of getting squeaks or rattle that weren't there before. Those will drive you insane.
