Is there a way to determine the Aston Martin actual paint color / code? One post mentioned this is under the bonnet (hood ;-) but I couldn't find anything there other than an emissions sticker and manufacturing date.

According to vindecoderz.com, my 2007 V8 Vantage (mfg May 2007) should be "Elusive Blue", but it looks more like "Glacier Blue" which wasn't offered until 2008... Then again, there are other things vindecoderz got wrong including the mileage (perhaps bait-and-switch for their paid service?)

The photos I've seen of "Celeste Blue" seem closer to my vehicle, but a bit too gray.

It's under the radiator shroud and in the trunk cubby. Trunk cubby is easier to get to:

 

To clarify Telums post. In the engine bay, You have to take the big gray engine bay cover off, then the color is on a tag, above the radiator.

A third way, would be to take the VIN to an AM dealer, they should be able to look it up from the original build

Thanks to everyone for your posts! I did a quick check in the trunk and my V8V Roadster has different access panels so no easy way there. I will look under the hood access panel and report back ;-)
