I guys I'm a little chicken **** when it comes to this I jacked it up on one side but unsure where to place the jack stands any one want to help out?

 

I see on telums brake video that his stands are where my jack is? Did he use that center area to jack it up?

 

Also I'm contemplating just doing the work with just the jack under it. Any one want to tell me how stupid I am. I'm replacing the door struts.

However you do need two floor jacks with this method.

 

My understanding is that the jacking points (sill cutouts behind the front wheel and just in front of the rear wheels) expose a beam that actually continues past the front jacking point. It appears that you can position a floor jack approximately 12 inches or so rearward of the front jacking point, which leaves room to position a jack stand at the front jacking point.

 

I ended up just using a piston jack. Jacked it up with a floor jack and then put a piston jack under and used that. There was enough space for both on the front jack point shown in the manual.

 

I jack from the front jack point, use jack stands with rubber pads and set the jack stands in the following positions.
