I looked up and when searched for DG 528 it fits certain Lincoln and jaguar models. Even DG 528 is not cheap.

I looked up on Autozone and it shows up with duralast ignition could C 1346 for $53 best part is there is life time warranty.

I will pull my coils and test it along with duralast and report back

My 05 had to be changed at 17,000 miles.. Definitely do it now if you're digging into it either way.

It was like Pistonhead or AMOC.

I have found some on Amazon
If you look up Suzuki 2001 vitara it shows up 3 pin coil which almost looks same. Autozone has some with life time warranty.

I am going to pull my coils this weekend and report my finding with side by side pictures and some testing

After researching some more, the 2 pin DG-528 is the AM coil, just with a different boot. I took a coil CARAIBAM provided (thanks again) and a Delphi DG-528 equivilent to a friends shop and had himn test both, the OHM'd the same and put out almost the same voltage (the one CARAIBAM provided was used). I am planning to replace mine once I get my car back from the body shop with the Delphi's.
Wow! Excellent info! You definitely deserve a rep bump for that.

Even though I sold my Aston Martin DB9, I do miss the community here. Glad to see we are still helping each other out.

Hi
I would like to know what was the ohm resistance when they tested the coils. Was the max resistance 1.7 or higher
Let me know please
Many thanks

Wow man, I do not remember 4 years back. All I can say is that the coils I had worked perfect till I got rid of the car. Roughly 2 years later and I put on about 15k miles.

I just replaced all my coils, and have the used ones (#12 was bad). So I have 11 coils left with 37K miles on them. If any one wants the coils.....

@sliderule01 did you go with the OEM coils in the end, or did you find an aftermarket solution?

Did anyone have any luck with the 3 pin Suzuki Grand Vitara coils mentioned earlier in this thread? They look similar but not identical and it isn't clear if they are the same spec as the AM ones.

I bought (or rather Steel Wings) went with the coils from Scuderia, along with all the assorted gaskets and stuff. Changed all 12. They appeared to be original. My 2007 DB9 Volante has 37K miles on it now.
