I am back contemplating a vantage and now in the throes of the current vs the next gen debate.
I know it will employ an AMG v8, which will be turbo charged, which is not all that appealing to me.


But:


Will it be bigger or smaller?
Will a manual be offered?


these 2 questions are big for me.

 

Supposed to be keeping the manual. Not sure on size yet. I really hope they drop some weight compared to the outgoing V8V!

 

you'll probably be waiting more than 2 years for the 2018, if you don't want to deal with 1st model year issues

 

I heard from a few different sources that they are dropping the manual.... as with all "speculations" i am not taking it too serious. Just have to wait and see

 

They will be keeping the manual transmission for the Vantage series. Andy Palmer has previously stated that he's committed to a manual option.
It will be a twin turbo MB derived V8.
It will be lighter.
I've placed my order, sight-unseen.
