Well shoot I want one. I don't have a spare $200K lying around though. Couple things, I'm not sure I like the wind blade (if that is they called it?) and also question if that screen is always up or only when needed. If always up, yuck. I also am not sure I like the shape of the instrument surround. It seems a little boxy at first impression. Other that those things, I want what I cannot have. As usual.

First thing that came to mind when KF's video started up the car was AMG sound. Sounded like my E63 with x-pipe delete. I know that has been a worry for people also. (Also I am pretty sure the motor is not yet a AMG motor, but maybe I am wrong, and if it is, then there is that sound
)
OK, just watched the first video, and while the initial 1/2 sec start up did remind me of the AMG, the rest did sound like an Aston should, so thought I would clarify my own post.
I thought the seats were pretty awesome and the nav screen didnt bother me too much, but the gauge console looked boxy and horrible. Not sure If I like the Electronic dash either. Just some thoughts

I feel so much better about the future of Aston Martin. Though I'm not sure how they expect to sell a single Vanquish from now until they launch a new one.
I love everything about the DB11. Well done Aston Martin! Can't wait to see one in person.

Vanquish
However, I do agree that the Vanquish is still extremely sexy and I think I prefer the interior on the Vanquish to the more modern DB11.
I'm not yet sold on the electronic instrumentation, but I wouldn't go so far as to call them tacky. I think I would have preferred a Ferrari / Porsche approach with an analog tach and digital screens to the sides.
One thing I think is pretty odd, all the car magazines loved to rip apart the pop up screen in the our cars. I feel like it was a very cool feature, even if I sacrificed a bit of size on the screen for pure style. I'm hearing the same thing here on the forum, folks like it. I especially like to put the screen down and see a clean dash once I have my music set and I'm out for a drive. It looks so clean and neat.
Also, while the navigation in my car might have pretty lame graphics, it works better than the nav in any of my Porsches, far better than the nav in my old M3 and better than the navigation in almost any other car I've driven.
Sometimes simpler is practical.
I'm interested to see the DB11, but really waiting for that new Vanquish.
One great thing, this car is beautiful, but I don't think it makes any current Aston look outdated. They've done a great job in my opinion and I'll wait to pass judgement on the dash until I drive one.
The future is bright!
I wasn't trying to suggest that this is a "better" car than the Vanquish. Simply that it will have a lower price point and with the new styling it will probably make it even harder for a dealer to make the sale.
I think I prefer the Vanquish interior, but I think the DB11 interior will be very appealing.
I think the press criticized the pop up screen's execution rather than the concept of a retracting screen. Several other cars have offered retracting nav screens. What bothers me about the DB11 screen is that it doesn't feel well integrated. It feels like it is temporarily placed in that recess, the way a retracting screen would feel. Just odd.
But I look forward to forming impressions in person.
As for "fake" instruments: What makes this fake? The needle in your current instrument is driven by data, not a mechanical system. So how is it less fake? I'd say you are quibbling over two forms of generating a graphic display. I'm not sure I like digital graphics in place of physical dials, but "tacky" is in the eye of the beholder (see Bentley interiors).

Vanquish still remains as my next Aston. I do like the DB11 shape.
Is the DB11 built on the new platform?
