Fake, as in its not a mechanical pointer and not a 3-D display. A flat screen representation of an instrument is not the real thing and looks not nearly as good as the current gen cars with their watch-like detailing.

Ibis...

I understand where you are coming from on the Vanquish. This car costs $80k less, has 40 more horsepower, a much more useable torque curve and modern amenities. Styling is a matter of objective opinion, but I would think that they won't be selling too many Vanquishes when people look at bang for the buck. If people want something upscale from the DB11, they are likely to wait for the next Vanquish in 2019 or so...

Its an all new lighter, longer and stronger platform. I can't wait for the Vantage version of it.
For me, one big disappointment is the lack of an analogue clock. An Omega smack in the middle of the dash would have been a nice classic touch.

This is an image of the Bentley Concept 6... An analogue Breitling clock sits at the top of the center console. In my option, this interior strikes a better balance of old and new than the new DB11's interior.

I agree that an analog clock would have been nice, always a classy touch, but I'd imagine it would come for Jaeger, no Omega.

I also agree that certain portions of the Bentley interior are better. For me its go too much chrome, but I really lament the lack of an analog tachometer.

AM just signed a long-term deal with Richard Mille.

Timing was literally the issue here.

Didn't hear that, of course now I want a Mille EVEN MORE....

Will it unlock the car?

The next question...will the watch cost less than a New Vantage? Given the price points on most Milles, it might be close.

No idea on the details. The news were posted in their facebook page.

Go check it out, they have a new video on the interior as well.

For me the DB11 interior, as a whole is far more elegant than that Bentley interior. But yes, I too would prefer a nice, physical analog clock and physical dials for the speed and tach.

But digital graphic displays are here to stay. I remember thinking I'd never like using the virtual keyboard on an iPhone back when I was accustomed to the physical buttons on my Palm Treo.

I suspect (hope) the Vantage has it's own interior and that it has analog dials. In keeping with the strategy of greater differentiation, it makes sense that the more raw, sporting Vantage might retain more analog hardware.

Three options for it. Polished aluminum, gloss black, or body color
I think this is a photoshop, but looks great in body color I think

Body Color???

Norbert,

The online configurator doesn't allow for body color. I agree, it looks best in body color. Although the roof-line is reminiscent of the F. Type in body color.
