New to me 2009 Vantage
Hello. After a couple of 911's in a row it was time for something different. I can't say I have ever come across another Slate Blue 4.7 Vantage, so I had to ****** it up. 6 speed manual, of course. The car is very clean with only 16000km. I really love the 2 tone interior. Moon Shadow on Obsidian Black. Very unique and beautiful. It's still winter here, so I am really itching to get it out. I have only drove it about 300km since I bought it in the fall. Shout out to the original owner, for having the excellent taste to spec this out, and the pictures. Thanks!

Welcome. From one 911 owner to another I know you are going to really like the Aston. Just get ready for the attention that they draw. I get more attention with the Vantage than I got in the Ferrari and way more than the Porsche.

Hey I remember that car! You bought it from the AM dealer in Calgary? I was about to go see it as I was already going to see the one next door, but it was gone before I had a chance to look at it I do have the build sheet of that car haha

Yea. I bought the car from Aston Calgary. You bought the silver car from Jaguar Calgary? About a month after I brought the car home, the timing chain cover started to leak. I brought it back to the dealer and they fully replaced the timing chain gasket. I can't say enough good things about Aston Calgary. Really excellent service.

I clayed the car and used my Porter Cable 7424, 4" microfiber cutting pad, and some Meguiar's 105 and 205 polishing compounds. There where factory sanding marks and swirls everywhere. It wasn't easy but I got the paint back to where it should be. The paint is very soft. You can scratch it just by rubbing your hands on it. I have never seen that before! I ended up putting a durable coating on the paint. http://www.gtechniq.com/products/aut...hybrid-coating
Seems to really help with the softness. I also removed the wheels and polished them. I polished the brake calipers. Detailed the wheel wells. Coated the wheels and calipers with the hybrid coating. I wish I had some better after photos.

Yes, I got the one from the Jag dealer. I had a cashdown on it but only could fly 3 weeks later to take a look at it. In the meantime I saw the one at the AM dealer, but you got it before I was able to check it out. Mine also had small scratches so I got it professionaly polished.
