New AM owner needs some pointers!

Hello Everyone,

Purchased my first AM ('07 V8V) a few weeks ago and have a couple of questions hoping someone could help:

I believe I have a failing tensioner pulley as the squeaking noise sounds like some youtube vids I've watched. Where is a good place to get AM parts in the U.S? Happy to have parts shipped in from the UK if it makes financial sense.

Door/bonnet/boot struts. With 15k miles these are sadly already failing. I'd hate to replace bad parts with more bad, OEM parts. Any alternatives for these?

Thanks all!

To be fair I need to consider the struts are almost 10 years old!

Give Telum01 a PM, he know a great location to find these struts and a few other parts
