2010 V8 start problem ECU won't light up consistantly

Just delivered and orig crystal key has to be taken in and out numerous times before turning red. E brake off, clutch in, neutral and still bulky. Any help here?

Turns out I have slooowly tease the key in and it will catch. Fussy little expensive thing.

That doesn't sound normal. You may have to hold it in for 2-3 seconds for it to turn over, but you shouldn't have to insert the fob slowly.

Maybe the tease I speak of is just the delay. I'll try to be patient for 2-3 sec. Not sure I can sit still that long.

I recognized that mine won't turn on when ECU was already in the slot (power, beauty, soul shows).
It works best plug ecu and hold down with no pause. Fires right on with One second delay.
