Does Anyone know the Drive Cycle For the Aston Martin?

Hey Guys, so I have an Aston Martin Vantage 2006 6 Speed Manual. So last month my stereo went out and part of my trouble shooting was disconnecting the battery until I later found out that the issue was a blown Fuse. Well the problem with the stereo was fixed but now I have to do the California Emissions Test and part of the checklist is to have the drive cycle complete and it shows as "Incomplete" since I disconnected the battery it reset all the data, I have been driving the aston but I cant seem to get it to complete the drive cycle. Does anyone in this forum have the drive cycle for this car? help would be appreciate since my tags are already expired pending this Smog Check lol Thanks!

I had a similar case during a smog check on my 07 db9 6 speed last year. i was correctly asked if I'd had the battery disconnected recently after which he suggested I go put on a hundred miles and return. Smog check successful right afterwards later in the afternoon. Hope this helps.

There is no manual way to reset the drive cycle. You literally need to drive the car to reset the drive cycle, it generally requires 25miles minimum.

The drive cycle is the monitoring process used by the ECU to determine whether or not the emissions related systems or working correctly. It's all related to emissions and testing.

Reviving and old thread. I’ve done the drive cycle (linked in the thread/ below) multiple times on my 2008 V8 vantage roadster with about 35,000mi but my catalyst monitor still shows incomplete ( and only that monitor). I have no codes and no modifications to the car. I had an EVAP low pressure intermittent code the drove the reset with replacement gas cap. But that was 400 miles ago.

Does anyone else know if there are other parameters not listed in the drive cycle that need to be true like battery voltage, fuel level, etc that could make the catalyst monitor be incomplete? Are ther hardware issues that would make it incomplete but not trip a CEL? Or should I just try the drive cycle again ( I’ve done every portion about 5+ times).

Make sure fuel level is between 1/4 & 3/4 tank. Start car and allow to idle to operating temp. Drive at a constant speed 55-60 mph cruise control is your friend for 5-8 miles. The multiple speeds and rpm stated in the PDF are guidelines that are almost impossible to do in regular driving.
