spacers to suit V8V
Hi all,
I've been lurking for a while and joined a few days ago
First post, just picked up 2007 V8V with 30,000km and am loving it having sold a 2007 RS4.
Very happy with the car and the first 500km which have included some tight twisty hill roads and some long country roads
Love the look of the car but think it needs a wider stance to fill the guards a bit better.
Can someone please tell me what centre bore and what thread and length the studs are on the hubs. I know they are 5 x 114.3 PCD.
Many thanks
Graze

Congratulations to your new car!!!
Front: H&R TRAK Spacers (2265681CR)
11mm for the front come with own nuts to replace the originals.
Bolt Pattern: 5/114.3
Bolt/Stud: Stud
Center Bore: 68.1
Thread Type: 14x2.0
Width: 11mm
Rear: H&R TRAK+ Wheel Spacer DRM Style 4665681
23mm for the rear have studs on the spacer (DRM) to use OEM nuts.
Bolt Pattern: 5/114.3
Bolt/Stud: Stud
Center Bore: 68.1
Thread Type: 14x2.0
Width: 23mm
Why I went for H&R Spacers?
- I didn't want to replace or modify the existing OEM studs.
- H&R spacer are approved by the German TÜV what means they are tested for safety.
- Getting the certification for TÜV is most likely the most cost for spacer production. H&R were significant cheaper than the competition.
- 23 mm is 100% flush with the fender in the rear.
- 15 would have been better on the front for optic but as mentioned above, I rather keep the OEM studs.

Beautiful car and great shots!
Even with me finally owning a Vantage, I'm stunned by pictures of this car.
Perfection in from every angle you look.
Thanks for sharing.

I have the same beautiful Meteorite but with a lighter interior.
From those pics, it looks like the spacers aren't installed yet. Please post pics of the install. I have heard mixed reviews about whether the H&Rs require cutting the existing studs for OEM 19 inch wheels.

Zettinger,
Can you please elaborate on the special nuts for the front spacers?
"11mm for the front come with own nuts to replace the originals."
I thought the studs need changed for 11mm longer ones?
The H&R site is not very clear and the US vendors I have found don't have much info either...
Thanks

Funny thing, Yesterday I asked Zettinger the exact same question via PM
Looks like that the nuts that comes with front H&R 11mm spacers are similar to this: http://www.fastwheelaccessories.com/...n-14-x-1-5-et/ the straight part goes inside the spacers so you keep your studs.

It apears that there is no grinding required with adaptec's 23 mm rear spacers on sport pack wheels, as pockets on the hub surface of the wheels are deeper than those on base wheels.
