Route 66 Warranty

Has anyone heard of Route 66 as a third party provider when buying a second hand AM that is out of warranty? It is supposedly way cheaper than what you would pay at the dealer and you can take it to either AM dealer or Indy shops for warranty repairs.

Haven't heard of it before, but found this on my banks' website:

https://www.penfed.org/Route-66-Extended-Warranty/

Looks like AM is one of the "excluded manufacturers" though.

Just another 3rd party warranty company. Lot's of people who own Porsche's use them, like Fidelity. I haven't heard of anyone with an AM use a 3rd party provider though.

The AM extended warranty is 3rd party, isn't it? That's why not everything is covered and why it is difficult to get things that are 'covered' paid for.

Through the pendfed link it does say AM is excluded but on the Route 66 website, you can apply for AM if you have one of the models (DBS not on there). Not sure?
