Tune to smooth SportShift II transmission?

Tune to smooth SportShift II transmission?
Does anyone know if there is a tune that will help to smooth out the shifts on the SportShift II transmission? I am told that the transmission is a separate "brain" from the ECU, but wondering if anyone can weigh in on this.

The transmission control unit (TCU) is the brain for the transmission. RSC had a tune for them back in the day but haven't heard about them in a long time. I don't see a TCU tune on Fabspeed or VAP's websites.
We do offer maps for the TCU. Email me for info.
