06 Vantage TPMS sensors put in wrong wheels? TPMS System Fault
Hi
I have an 06 Vantage
I had my wheels refurbished. They took the sensors off and for some reason, took off and lost all of the colour coded valve bands. The sensors were then put back on the wheels, but were put back on the wrong wheels.
The system has now stopped working. "Tyre System Fault" comes on the dash after System Check is completed.
So without knowing which sensor is meant to go on what wheel, how can I fix this?
Has anyone reprogrammed old sensors on to different wheels?
Thanks
R

Not sure That mixed up sensors would cause a System Fault. AFAIK the TPMS system, if working properly would just show pressures for the wrong tires if the sensors were not returned to the proper tires. While the sensors may or may not be on the correct tires, that is not the reason you have a system fault. I suspect you might now have defective sensors.

Agreed , they should still work but just for the wrong wheel (if they are all in the wrong wheels ).
I knew I decided to re do my own wheels for a good reason !!!
I think they guys that removed them damaged the sensors .

Thanks very much all
All the lights are flashing either Amber or Red in unison. That includes the Status light as well as the Tire lights

If you turn the key on for 10 minutes with no wheel speed, you will get the same fault msg in the dash with the TPMS light on(Smartire system). Have you driven the car at least 10km's to read the sensors again since the install?
