Well, just fininshed working on the connectors....and I got her started!!! Immense thrill to hear her fire up and burble!! Got me weak in the knees... I think the rats made that noise just that much sweeter.

Thanks to you all for the motivation and hints. J DoubleU your suggestion was the secret sauce. I can at least enjoy her a little interim while I wait for the larger fix!!

Nice to know you're on the road again. Invest is some dryer sheets and tie them around the area of damage. And if it's possible keep the hood open, the critters don't like the view.

 

Have not been back to Jamaica in 30 years. What the price of gas these days?

 

Had a busy last few weeks. Just getting around to this: About U$4/gallon!! So not at all ideal but we pay per litre so it "feels" better!!
