2011 V8 Vantage S Dashcam Installation
I am going to install a dashcam (actually Cellink Battery B) to my 2011 V8 Vantage S. I just want to make sure I am doing this correctly.
Q1: Any of you done this before and can direct me to the fuse to try? Which ones are at least 15A and is off when ignition is off?
Q2: I am going to try F55 (20A spare) > F63 (20A spare) > F67 (15A spare) > F70 (15A spare) in those order to hopefully find one that is ignition switched. (Cellink recommended is at least 15A).
Q3: Is there a good grounding spot/nut that you have used?
Q4: How have you mounted your dashcam? Trying to decide how to mount it such that it remains hidden and seamless when viewed from outside. Photos welcomed!
Q5: Any other things that I should look out for and be aware of? (Not sure whether there's any Aston Martin specific details)
Q6: (Slightly unrelated) Is there a way I can switch one of the cigarette light ports in the cabin to be off when ignition is off? (Right now both of them are always live even when car is off)
I've attached the fuse cabin photo and manual guide for reference.
Thanks!!!
