Agreed - and I can't seem to find that info anywhere (I have the maintenance manuals, etc but this isn't listed anywhere that I can find it).

Yeah. I did some searching and couldn't find it either. There's a thread on piston heads that has a link to an ebay listing, but it's long gone. Your best bet is probably what you were thinking - pull one out and take some measurements. Try and find as close a match as possible.

Irish07 on here seems to have a lot of knowledge so you may try PMing him.

There's no industry standard for the hole size for a press-in stud. The manufacturer of the stud has to provide it. Having said that, I've designed many, many systems with captive standoffs and studs and they all pretty much use the same hole size for any given thread diameter.
