Unhappy V12 in limp mode

Drove my 06 DB9 today. Left my house and about 5 mins later the car went into limp mode. I pulled over to the side and the engine died. Was able to start the car back immediately and the engine runs excellent but goes back to limp mode. Ran the odbII a got these codes:

p0606
p0705
p1797
p2105
p1656

pending
p0606
p0705
p1656
p1797
p2105
p2106

So once again, the engine runs excellent until it goes into limp mode. Any suggestions?

Thank you in advance

Looks like I fixed the issue. My battery was bad. Replaced the battery, cleared the codes, and then drove the car for awhile. No more limp mode.

So for future reference, if you go into limp mode with multiple codes, it just might be the battery.............

Nice. I'm having mine replaced next time I'm at the dealer. It's near 8 years old so it doesn't owe the car anything, and I'd like to avoid the weirdness that comes when it starts hitting low voltage.

Great! I was ignoring symptoms that had been going on for quite awhile, one which was the car being harder to start than usual.

I had one start over the winter I thought, maybe it's getting about time. It's been fine since but there's no reason to push my luck. Heat is hard but freezing is a different animal.

I replace mine at the slightest hint of a bad or weak battery. The one thing for sure Aston's hate batteries that are in less than top condition. Too many Crazy things happen as told often on this forum. Volante top won't work, limp mode, window issues, odd shifting, malfunctioning gauges, codes that don't make sense. I consider replacing mine every 3 years as part of Preventive Maintenance. The last time I returned it to the store for testing they gave me a new one --no charge. Battery conditioners are a big help too.
Anyone with an unusual issue needs to rule out a bad battery before all the anxiety of a big problem sets in!

Golden, just wondering if any of these problems came back for you? I have almost the same exact codes as you and went into limp mode just like you did, but my battery checked out okay. I'm interested to know if your problems came back and you found them to be anything else.
