I was about to pass someone and punched it and then the guy changed lanes into the lane I was going into, well I quickly let off the gas. Now, I stayed on the gas just long enough to get the rpm's up to about 3,500, but when I let off the gas the rpm's stayed there till I tapped the gas pedal, this happens everytime I do this.
So is this an issue or is this normal behavior for an 07 DB9?

I am pretty sure this is not normal behavior.

Kind of figured that, well I was going to get my CRM checked out, guess I will have the dealer check this out also.

BTW: Anyone have any experience with Dimmit in St. Pete, fl?

I went to Dimmitt in St. Petersburg when I first got my Aston about 18 months ago. I wanted service bulletin 0236 done. Not only were they not familiar with it, but once I gave them a copy of the bulletin they estimated way more time than the bulletin stated. I finally went to the dealer in Orlando who gave me a price more consistent with the bulletin.
In addition the Orlando dealer has one of the best Aston Martin techs in North America. (You can see the process on my website Bernardembden.com)

My two cents

I called them, they more than scared me. Was talking to them earlier today, they did not know what was needed to reflash my new seat module and service writer could not answer a couple of questions I had. So I guess I will continue investigating this issue myself and if that doesn't work it will be off to Orlando.
