I've used Grundy for years with my Porsches...extremely reasonable but not really for daily drivers...

i use my weekend cars limited...you have to have another car for each driver on the policy.

VANTAGE_06 is infamous around these parts
I should have mentioned it is not my daily driver and would only be used for 3-5k pleasure miles at the most. Haggerty have quoted $1300-ish, Grundy $550. I live in rural Maine so even the Haggerty figure is smaller than you guys in metropolitan areas. Liberty Mutual my current insurer have quoted $880, from $400 last year. Bait and switch I suspect. It just seems a huge difference and hadn't heard of Haggerty only from searches on forums. Thanks for your input!

My dad used Grundy in the past in MI and was very happy with the low rates. I'm not eligible since we have four drivers (two adults, two teens) and only 3 cars including the Aston.

I live in eastern NC and GEICO insures my DB9. I requested quotes from several other insurers (Nationwide, Liberty Mutual, Progressive) and was told they couldn't insure AM in NC.

Hagerty like I said was $1300 a year, unlimited mileage no restrictions but garage kept. This is for South Carolina. Hard to believe they would be different than NC. But, Nationwide owns Hagerty's or is somehow financially connected to them. Not sure of specifics. But, Nationwide policy holders if their car is over 100k new, in value gets put through Hagerty's for INS. All gets paid through Nationwide. I ran into this 2 years ago with a Maserati. Nationwide would not insure a 06 Quattroporte valued at 30k. But, they went through Progressive and it was $300 a month as the only car. But my Mustang 92' is primary car, with the Aston as a pleasure car. So lower rates.

Just to put this up here because I haven't seen it mentioned before.
Berkley Insurance, through my broker, agreed value, limited miles to 3000 a year but no other restrictions that I remember. $1,400. Renewal is in June so I'll see if things change.

Regards,
