Question Bay Area Servicing

For those in the bay area, where do you guys go for your annual servicing? Any shops for tires too?

New shop starting up in Oakland very soon. Former AM Master Tech that's going indie. I'll get his info posted as soon as he's got things finalized. Should be very, very soon.

Another Aston mechanic in the Bay Area would be great! Rich, yes, please share once you get that info as Oakland is a great central location!

I go to The Racers Group in Petaluma. It's a good place to talk shop at, enjoy the garage and race cars, and even do a wine tasting!

I've also been to J&G in Marin, Roselli foreign cars in San Jose and the Aston dealership in Los Gatos. All great experiences but TRG in Petaluma is still my favorite. It's just hard to catch them for service since availability is based on when they're not racing their cars.

I hear good things about Walnut Creek Aston Martin but haven't been yet. Hoping to hear someone share their experience on this thread.

I'm a fan of TRG, but yeah, they're a race shop. I was there in October with Tim, who's starting the shop in Oakland. He was at Walnut Creek, so some of you know him from there, too, and he may be the one behind that good reputation

The current info for Tim's new shop:

Germany's Best
5291 College Ave
Oakland, CA 94618
(510) 658-8948 - ask for Tim
Timunsell@gmail.com
Fully functional including alignment, tire replacement and balancing, full Aston Martin diagnostic capabilities on all models.

It's been focused on German cars so far, especially with Porsche, but Tim is an AM Master Technician plus has a lot of experience with Maserati and Bentley, so the name is likely to change now that he's involved.

That's awesome, Rich. I'll definitely check them out as it's closer to me, geographically.

I still have coilovers to install, so I'll reach out to Tim when I'm ready.

Robbie @ www.peninsulaeuropean.com/ in San Mateo is my go to shop if its not warranty work that has to be done at the dealer. Robbie is also a AM master tech, formerly at Los Gatos and AM of Beverly Hills.
