Hi. I recently installed the DBS shifter in my 09 V8VR and very highly recommend the upgrade. It's a substantial difference in both look and feel.

One problem ... be very careful when removing the metal plate for the shifter as there are two metal "tabs" by the center stack which can easily scratch the center stack / radio

So, now I have two linear surface scratches and am looking for a short term answer to make them less noticeable. Does anyone know the color of the center stack? I also thought about using a fine paint marker that matches as close as possible.

Long term (e.g. winter), I will look at removing it and repainting. Thanks!
