After putting just a couple hundred miles on my V12V since getting it in April, I decided its time to start amping up the volume. I thought I would last longer without touching it but I just can't leave well enough alone when it comes to the sound of a car.
I picked up a pair of lightly used 100-cell hi-flow cats from a former V12V owner on Ebay; I got a heck of a deal and couldn't pass it up ($500 shipped for the pair!). I decided tonight was the night to install these bad boys...
With my car up on my 4-post lift, here's a pic of the stock units. I had ZERO trouble breaking the nuts/bolts loose...With only 6,600 miles on the car, it's pretty spotless under there...
Here's a comparison of the 100-cell and OEM secondary cat pipes. I weighed each and the 100-cell units are 1.8lbs lighter (each) than OEM. 3.6lbs less on the car now.
Here's the OEM cat wafer:
Here's the 100-cell cat wafer:
Took me all of 30-minutes from start to finish to get these mounted up...I had to run to dinner so didn't get a chance to drop the car off the lift yet to test. I'll post a comparison video of the stock exhaust sound (w/valves open) versus these 100-cell cats w/stock exhaust (w/valves open). I'm curious to what the difference will be
Next up in my future will probably be Quicksilver exhaust (sport or SuperSport--not sure yet). I want to maintain the original "tone" of the V12--I just want it a bit louder than OEM with valves open...But before I put the cart before the horse, I'll see how I like the setup above.

Hi Dan,
That's a killer deal on a great product. Good snap up!
Drop us a line if you need help on exhaust choices, we probably know all the sound level/combos possible on these cars and the relative volume and tones.
We're about to start a run of the VelocityAP Exhausts also so one of those might tickle your fancy too
