Do you have the actual weights? I remember racing break being slightly lighter then willwood at the same price. If you have all three weights front and rear would be great for the forum.

Sports Exhaust

We have a large range of systems that will make all the difference to the sound of your Aston Martin.

We can recommend the secondary CAT delete pipes to make the system crisper and really improve the clarity of the exhaust note.

These paired with a system such as our Sports or SuperSports system will improve volume throughout the rev range.

Here is a link to our site if you would like to learn more and see some videos of the sound:

The Brembos are $1995 just for the front rotors. The Wilwood rotor set that VelocityAP developed is $2176 for a full set of 4.

Something about the weights that were quoted on the Brembos never added up. They are dimensionally the same as the wilwood, aluminum hats, and steel rotors. It's possible to have a small amount of difference in weights but there's no pixie dust that suddenly makes one lbs and lbs lighter.

What brake setup did we go with so there wasn't so much dust?
Did you get a tune? Sct handheld of ecu replacement?
Anybody straight piped on their exhaust?

Any and all recommended upgrades/modifications for longevity?

Thanks,

Porterfield R4-S is the way to go. We've been selling them for many years, and people love them for the low brake dust: http://www.velocityap.com/Aston-Vant...n-pf-front.htm
http://www.velocityap.com/Aston-Vant...in-pf-rear.htm

We also offer some pretty advanced tuning options. VelocityAP has been an Aston specialist for a long time so we have more in depth tuning knowledge on these cars than just about anyone else out there.

As far as straight piping the exhaust - if you mean totally straight through, it has been done bit it will be SERIOUSLY loud. Depending upon what you want to achieve there are a lot of different combinations available that could meet your needs & budget. We have cats, deletes, exhausts, headers, valved setups, muffler deletes and XPipes.

Would love to chat to you about what can be done and figure out what works for you.

Congrats on the addition! I love the matte black too!

+1 for Porterfield on the pads.

I just put together a package for a '08 V8 Vantage 4.3L of our OBDII based ECU tune, HJS 200 Cell Sport Cats and a set of BMC Filters. Really opened the car up nicely and sounds incredible - aggressive and turns heads everywhere. No CEL either!

Here is a short takeoff clip that I took:

Let me know your thoughts - As always I'd love to hook up fellow 6Speeders with forum pricing
