Following the consensus I ordered a set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S.
When the shop fitted the new tyres they chipped the powder coating on the rim edge (I have black rims).Fortunately I took the wheels off the car (Quickjack in my garage) and did not take the car in. So I left the wheels and told them I would collect and pay when the wheels were again perfect.They have gone off to be powder coated in satin black as original. No profit for the shop on this deal!

Wheels are back with new Michelins and they are perfect--they re-coated all four wheels to ensure they matched. I would use this tyre shop again--they took their **** up seriously and fixed it.
