DB9 on jack stands for storage

Does anyone know if there is a downside to store car on jack stands during winter? Some suggest keeping tires off the ground creates too much long term tension on suspension (bushings, toe links etc) as the wheels/tires are suspended. Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Storage was discussed previously by someone going on military duty...not as far as jack stands but...and my two cents, for winter, unless your winter is more than say, 6 months, I would say, it's not necessary to go as far as jack stands. If you think about it, cars sit in dealerships for some time normally...no harm.

This is definitely my method of choice. Air up the tires good and hard and just roll the car back and forth every once and a while.. Piece of cake.
