P2106 - Powertrain Code thrown
Just got P2106 (Throttle actuater control system) on OBD. Had once before and corrected itself with a can of sea foam, which did not work this time. Had indie garage thoroughly clean throttle body and got code again. It occurs only on a cold start when engine is cycling through cold start procedure, and when shut off and restarted it is fine. Hoping for a solution that precludes a trip to an AM service center. Any suggestions would be great, irish07 you out there?

Posting this for future users. Problem persisted and finally, unwilling, had serviced at dealer. Big mistake, elaborated on in other posts by me. I suspected a bad TB sensor, replaced throttle body, no fix. After a late nite spirited drive of 80 miles problem abated! It came back once a day later and has gone away for several weeks since. I can only reason a sensor was dirty or had a loose connection the heat from the spirited drive in someway fixed, I live in the country and it is very dusty... It is a comfort, strangely, that electrical gremlins in British cars remain... feels connected to a tradition, haha. Having owned british cars life long, this is by far, the most reliable in every respect. 108k miles, 95k by me, and is original clutch. Also, the new vantage has convinced me to keep this one. Was seriously considering new one, but will keep this one and rebuild engine when needed and perhaps buy a used Vanquish as a weekender.
