Service alarm system message and associated clicking

2005 DB-9......Message appeared after a drive and now with the car sitting in the garage there is a clicking that randomly occurs. It sounds the same as the tone that occurs when you lock/unlock the vehicle using the fob. Any ideas on what's occurring and what the fix is? Thanks in advance.

Yep, sounds like you need a new alarm module. The battery inside this unit is likely failing. I had the exact same message on my V12V and installing a new alarm sounding unit fixed the issue (https://www.6speedonline.com/forums/aston-martin/411569-alarm-system-service-required-2012-v12v.html). AstonMartinBits.com will hook you up with the correct unit based on your VIN.

I think you're on to something here. The battery is very strong. I will check with AMBits. Thanks

I wonder about disabling the alarm for the short term so it doesn't make that clucking chicken sound,
