As far as I know the original valves bypass the muffler completly when open, that is when you still have the AM backbox.

How sure you're about that? if that's the case, just need to get remote kit & that will get the job done.

Do you know whats inside oem rear silncer box? When bypass valves open, is it straight out to tail pipes or still flows trough some silencer tubes?
