AMV8 Roadster Rear window peeling

Hey guys, just picked up a 2007 AMV8 convertible and I noticed that the rear window is separating from the roof fabric. What adhesive do you recommend to seal this back together?

I looked at a convertible with this condition. To fix it right, it needs to be done at a very skilled shop. I was quoted about $3,000 to $3,500 to do it correctly. a couple of shops didn't even want to quote it

Aston tells you to replace it at $4-6,000. My local Aston dealer here in Orlando said he made a "jig" and fixed a customer's DB9 and charged him under $1,500 for it and it has lasted over two years now without any leaks.

These tops and the glass are always under some tension and relaxation and I've been told that keeping the top down all the time can cause problems...

If you really want to try it yourself, When i was doing some research, the 3M 08609 Window-Weld Super Fast Urethane along with the proper primer, along with claps, suction cups, patience and time is the preferred method

On the car I was ready to purchase, the top separated from the glass on the test drive during a rather spirited drive.

One of the reasons I finally decided on a coupe was just the added complexity and costs associated with the top.

My regular independent service guy said he would take my car to an auto glass place for me. They fixed mine for about $300 2 years ago and it's still doing fine. Sorry, don' know what adhesive they used.

If it's top of glass to roof, I used velcro. Did in August with many ups & downs and still perfect. I think $3 for 6 inch strip. Mine only down on left outer.
