That’s something I did with my old Acura. But not my Aston

Lol
Don’t be scared to work on them, I compare cars to LEGO blocks you can put them back together. If you are smart enough to earn enough money to buy Aston Martin you are going to be smart enough to take it apart and put it back together.

Mine get some condensation and I saw '12 Rapide at an AM dealer that had it too. Seems like it is inevitable?

In the past it pretty much has been inevitable. Mine got ruined and my car has been in the rain once in 10 years! (Its washing and blowing out the water with my master blaster that did it).

Point of my thread which has gone a bit off topic is that the factory (Aston martin works) is for the first time saying they have a reworked light that fixes condensation issue and trying to understand if anyone has tried one/knows anything about it. This is in an effort to ensure it's no longer inevitable.

I will try calling AMW tomorrow to hear from them.

Rest assured I will immediately report any sign of condensation in my new and improved rears! [no, not my ***, that's part of my new years resolution, to get it new and improved too!]

Mine sees every bit of rain and snow that falls, and it even gets washed every now and then.

Funny they would have this problem for so long considering their home market is a place it rains 60% of the year

word from Aston martin works (from the add) quote"the bonding agent used on the reworked lights is stronger to stop the condensation".

Sometimes you can be smart enough to let a professional do what they do best, while I do what I do best
