I went to a race shop and sat in about 10 different seats and they fit me the best. They match the AM interior as well!

My understanding is the 3 point attaches as delivered from Aston. The Side bolsters are just low enough to allow the lap belt to work over the top. Our plan is to pull the seat and install the harness for track work. We won't setup the passenger seat with a harness. Switching back and forth may end up being a disaster, we won't know until we install.

That said, we just purchased neck restraints from Schroth. They now have a secondary harness that goes around the trunk of the body and attaches to the neck restraint. This allows the use of an OEM 3 point system with a neck restraint. Though it doesn't solve flopping around it's selling point is the benefit to instructors. I got an email from HOD a few weeks ago and they will no longer allow participants running harnesses to run without a neck restraint.

The seats are on the boat with expected delivery this week or next. Don't know how long they sit in GOVCO bureaucracy once unloaded.

Yes I called them yesterday and they verified that the belts attach at the OEM points. It's a big deal for me as I will not be putting in a harness (initially anyways).

You must be excited waiting for the seats to come! Can't wait to hear about the weight and your thoughts on them.

Hey Cliff,

Just wanted to let you know your seats came in and I wanted to confirm the shipping address.
Actually I am a bit anxious. I just hate making expensive mistakes
