That isn't normal for an Aston Martin car. As far as I'm concerned, this trim was never delivered in a black optic (apart from the Vantage GT12?) so I reckon this is an aftermarket add-on by the PDO.
You can take the trim off and have it all peeled off to rediscover the beautiful OEM chrome underneath.
Just heard back from dealer .. it is factory and called door window molding. I'll get it replaced.
did they let you know what the black part #s are? mine are chrome that i had "deleted" through vinyl, but if i had to replace them i'd just as well they be oem parts.
