Anyone wrap their door sill plate?
picking up my 2007 V8 manual and would like to wrap my black sills, black door arm rests, shift surround and maybe the outside mirrors. Anyone done this?

I wrapped my whole car exterior... Mirrors are a total ***** to do in one piece... best to do in two pieces or else you may lose your mind... as for the interior parts I like the way mine are so I don't plan on doing them... but I may do my silver door sills just for a layer of protection as they are already scratched a tiny bit.
The arm rests do come off in one piece so that shouldn't be too bad, still looks like a tough piece to do with out some inlays though, not sure you could do in one piece

I did mine - first tried a carbon vinyl (to cover existing scrathes & protect from more). looked ok but scuffed up really easily
So i tried the carbon vinyl with a polyurethane spray gloss over it thinking it would look like carbon - WRONG - went black
doesn't scratch though
I think next I will lay up actual carbon over it and the polyurethane - way cheaper than a full carbon plate
Graze
