Yup, you're right. I forgot who drove what, but always thought the XKR was cooler looking car at the time.

I thought the early F Types had super stiff springs and some scary handling traits that were fixed in later model years?

I am big Jaguar fan but never warmed up to the F Type. The XK was a better looking car, but it never got all the development it deserved.
