For anyone interested here's a pic of the busted valve spring. The Shop Foreman at the dealer said in 20 years servicing Astons this is only the second one he's seen. The other car had it break while still under warranty and AML decided to replace the engine. Which doesn't really give me alot of confidence. Oh well.

 

I'd say those are some pretty good odds you won't be having the issue again
