I had fully intended to use mine as I did my Z's, for everything, including picking up inventory. In fact I did not look at any cars with the B&O because of the extra hump on the trunk shelf. Obviously when I finally test drove one and saw the hatch open in person I knew those plans were never going to work, so B&O was back in the equation, and my car has it. The most I can fit in mine are 2 in the front, where the 370 would hold 7! LOL

Daily but low miles
My work commute is less than 2 miles round-trip, so it’s hardly a good data point regarding daily driving. But, I find excuses to take the long way home or otherwise drive whenever possible. Have owned since June 1 of this year and put about 1300 miles on it.

This is all great to hear. I’ve been following your builds over the years and I now look forward to joining the AM group hopefully in the next couple of weeks and use my car the same way as you.

a wise man once said " Cars and Prostitutes - if you paid for them better use it"
I DD my aston and Lambo for 3 months at a time, rain or shine. We never get snow.
Disadvantage of DD ? My lambo which was parked (20-30 feet away from any other car) in A bank parking lot , got hit by a camry when a lady who was in hurry to catch a flight and damaged passenger side bumper and fender last thursday. waiting for appraisal guy to come and tell me how much is damage"

about a couple of years ago i bought my 2007 vantage with 11,000 miles on it and put half again as much on it in two and a half weeks with a trip from central coast of california to central ohio and back. think i may be doing it again this year. ...zip over to interstate 70 on federal route 50 to utah, through nowheresville nevada and take it to denver. then down south a little and head through southeastern colorado, kansas and missouri, then cross the mississippi (and about a mile later the ohio) river where missiouri, illinois and kentucky meet. on to lexington and then up to columbus. or something like that. don't really like putting miles on the car. but it's too nice of a car on a road trip to choose my honda st1300 or 2001 ram 1/2 ton pickup over it . anyway, neither have cruise control..

The Rapide is my only car. Wife has a car too, but if I need to go anywhere; the Rapide it is. I find it a solid daily driver. Kind of big to negotiate at times. Did 200 miles on Sunday driving to the Cape. Averaged 14.7 mpg. Traded in the Vantage for the Rapide as we need to bring our dog with us (sometimes) and wife cannot drive a manual. Vantage was too sporty for I what needed as well. I thought I wanted an "all on sports car", but as a primary it got bit much. I don't live directly in a great driving area for such sportiness. Vantage was easy to stall in a manual too. Not the best when it stalls on green light at a steep hill.
Next season I plan to buy a 2nd car. Alfa 4c or the upcoming Lotus Type 131 are the two front runners.
As for utility, I've had about 10 cases of wine in the Rapide.
