Live and work in downtown Chicago, and while walking by, walk into an Aston dealer to buy a $300k car on the spot. Without even test driving it. Lol jeez man... but hey, more power to ya.

Logistically, any $300k car isn't going to disappoint though... Nothing wrong with treating yourself. Some people do it with $300k cars, others with $30 dinners- same thing, different scale.

I wouldn't be able to sleep at all tonight if I was taking delivery of a Vanquish tomorrow morning...

 

A bit of a delay in the Xpel install, installer needs to come back to redo some pieces, will head out to sign paperwork and take some pics but likely won't pick up until Thursday and yes the wait is LONG!

Well happy to report delivery is complete! First a big shout out to Norbert of Aston Martin Chicago, a true professional in every respect. Driving impressions are limited as I literally drove 25 miles in bumper to bumper traffic and dropped off to have my front spoiler protected with a very cool product from Scrape Armor. I'm back traveling tomorrow to Colorado and then LA, not back for a week but once I return I will make sure I get some quality seat time and report on my impressions !
