Honest review of the 2019 Aston Martin Vantage
Honestly, that's probably the most in depth review you'll see and I found alot of it quite interesting. And I got the full tour from the factory tech but didn't know 1/4 of what I just learned from Doug, and nobody else has put in their reviews.
I honestly thinkit just looks worse than the old vantage, and sharing an turbo amg engine in every c63, e63, gt variant etc is a put off. I had a rental c63 amg and the damn thing literally could not burn out or power slide in first gear due to turbo lag. I'll stick with my tuned na 14 vantage.
I'm sure that rental company would love to read this...
Demuro's reviews are decent. He always finds a few little details that nobody else has talked about. I don't know how you look at the back of the car and fail to talk about the cluster f**k that is the area around the exhausts, though.
The other review I got tired of listening to the guy while he drove so I FFed through a lot of it.
Everybody noticed the panel gaps on the intro cars, but kind of blew it off as a pre-production thing. Now the cars being sold have the same huge gaps. That's pretty sad and whether or not you like the looks of the car I certainly wouldn't spend $150K+ on a car with quality like that.

Isn't that how everybody drives their rentals? I always thought the term "drive it like you stole it" was dumb, who wants to bring attention to a stolen car? "Drive it like a rental", now that has a nice ring!
You probably couldn't get the wheels turning because of the nannies. Until you turn those off every modern car with power won't let you have any fun.
Do the current new cars have gaps like that or was it just those samples? I didn't walk over to sales when I stopped up a couple weeks ago as I was eushed. I'd love to check out the new inventory up close.

Was just at the Aston dealer - a young couple was taking a test drive in a deep metalic silver 19' Vantage - it actually looked sorta good in that color. He asked how reliable the Vantages were, and I told him other than my 2015 GT they were extremely reliable, but I was keeping my V12S. He said the new Vantage is quicker (if so,by not much), I responded that mine was a lot more elegant, so that's my deciding factor. So that's it - again, the bad boy racer market has interest with the 0-60 as the deciding factor.
Yeah I wouldn't say they are half baked, but they just get more refined every year, that is typical for any car not just astons
also I'm not sure how matt thinks the car has a harsh ride in the most comfortable mode... the thing is way less harsh than my old sports pack vantage is even in track mode!
