Those look really, really good on red. Maybe gloss black would make a difference on mine, but it seems the vote is unanimously thumbs down for the way they look now (). I guess I can try having them powder coated a medium gray or sell them, but I hate to do that since they are so much lighter than stock. Based on all of the above comments, I presume you all would prefer one or both of these better? Silver or gray?
I like my black wheels on my car, but all depends on the color of the car. i had 4-5 different wheels & different colors, but these are the best choice for me.
I think this works really well on your car because the side strakes are black, window trim is black, grill is black, black roof - it pulls off that sleek and sporty look. I think steps like these taken can make black wheels work, but if you're just slapping black wheels on an otherwise stock Aston, I dont think it works well

big YES on either one. But my choice would be darker one.
Nope from me, besides the design I'm not a fan of black wheels at all.
I don't get why you would buy an expensive wheel with sophisticated design to hide in black.
Black plastic hub caps do the same job.

Both options look stunning! Can't go wrong either way.
I've never been a fan of those 10 spoke DB9 rims. I do like the Virage wheels, I'd rather have them diamond cut but they do look right in black with all the other black details with the red.
Black wheels look great if the rest of the trim (window surrounds/DLO, grilles etc.) match. In your case, if the trim is going to stay chrome, the wheels should be silver or light grey (silver looks better IMO).
